Taken around sunset on the river with a storm in the distance.

Great title on this one, since the river is about to experience a tempest. Very nice study of light, shape, line and texture with the bending path and fence line, the shrubbery and bridge in the distance. The reflection on the water is excellent. Great choice for a B&W.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it.:icq:
I wasn't sure on the BW, so I guess I made the right pick.

Amazing shot!
I really like how everything blends together so well in this pic. Usually when pictures similar to this are in bw then everything becomes a great big gray blob but this one..everything works out so well! Truly amazing :)

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad you like it and feel it blends together. I'm working real hard to make sure all my landscapes have foreground, middle ground and far ground. Something my teacher existentialdefiance is working with me on. I wasn't sure how popular this in BW would be and if it would have debt but the color version seemed too flat. So I decided to go with the BW and see what folks thought. Thanks!

You're very welcome! That is really good, landscape shots look better when they have more than one level. One leveled landscape shots have become very repetitive. Now I'm curious about what the color version looks like lol

Thank you. Taking sky shots is something new I'm trying. It is a lot harder to get good shots of pretty clouds than I thought. I even used Dan's big fancy camera rather than the one I have. I'm learning that often you can't see any debt at all when you go to crop the image and so forth. The sky was actually so much prettier than this but the colors seemed too faded after the image was downloaded. In BW they seemed to pop a bit more. :rose:

Beautiful capture. What a wonderful sky, and I love the streetlight, as a dual source of illumination, all reflected on the water.
