You are a fantastic artist, I hope to someday be able to draw half as good as you..The neat thing about being an artist though, is that we all have something unique about what we create. It can be something that no one else can do. Whereas with photography someone might could. The fun in the journey I think, is finding what that unique niche is..
ooow thank you ... you got all the reason, but i see your water color n i think that woo u r such a great artist i love all your jobs n well I'm just learning to paint but I really like to paint like you do, your works are really good and they inspire me to keep learning and trying to improve my work
This is the red right out of the tube. I liked the deepness of it so I didn’t add anything to lighten or darken it. I did put in a touch of back around the edges to give it some definition. I also added extra water to lighten certain areas to create some shades. I actually had to paint over the middle rose several times because I had added to many veins from the stem. That is one thing good about using water color, it dries fast and you can fix most mistakes.
And more you know about tehnique, more free you can be. Personaly, I prefer half dried watercolor, where I can mix colors, but stil have very defined areas. Very much also dependes on the tipe of paper you are using.
Thank you, I'm glad you like this. I worked hours and hours trying to get the red deep enough and the detail just right on the leaves and stems. It is not the most popular thing I have posted right now, but I actually worked the hardest on it and feel it’s my best.
